I’m in between 2 windows one 8 feet away the other 16 feet. And I oily get 1 Chanel (local). In my room with a different type of antenna I get many many more. You advertised that it doesn’t have to be right on the window and that’s why I bought it. Very disappointing.

I don’t think you get 580 miles range; however, you get pretty dang far! All depends on where in the house and what is between the antenna and the TV station antenna. I can validate 50+ miles; with 25 additional channels. All I was looking to get was the local channels and that was achieved…. so 5 stars!

Overall, it works really well with clear picture. Scanned channels come in great, but a couple of them don’t come in really good anymore. I haven’t touched the antenna behind my TV, but now I’ll have to move it around more. Not sure why suddenly this happened. I’m going to find some type of shelf to raise it up higher off the TV stand.

The antenna works great, and is easy to set up. I get some issues depending on where I position it, but having the antenna behind my TV and closer to a window helps get better reception. It receives around 30 local channels, and has had no issues so far.

I bought this antenna for myself a few months ago, and have been very happy with the results. I can now enjoy all my locally available channels through this antenna in high definition.
